Redlands
Redlands is a quaint little town, often called the jewel of the Inland Empire. A town known for its historic Victorian houses, boutique shopping and robust nightlife. Take a stroll down State Street where you will find local storefronts and eateries. The street signs and brick buildings breath a fresh breath of nostalgia. If you’re lucky enough to be there on a Thursday night, you might see vendors and local farmers setting up booths for the town’s weekly market night. Drive around and you’ll see towering trees lining the streets alongside historic housing. You’re transported to a different era; a time where the buildings had style and character… they told a story. You see 100 year old churches with stained glass and pass many people out riding their bikes or walking along the street on this beautiful day.
But it doesn’t stop there, in addition to the rich history and culture the south side has to offer, the North side offers all the amenities you would expect from a big town. Visit Citrus Plaza or Mountain Grove Shopping Centers for all your mainstream shopping needs. Redlands is also conveniently located with only an hour's drive to the beach or skiing in the mountains. The community has a wide range of events to offer including the Redlands Bicycle Classic, Hanger 24 Air Fest, Run through Redlands and the longest standing free concert series in the country, held right in the heart of the city at the Redlands Bowl. Recently many micro-breweries have presented as well, making Brews that capitalize on the town’s large orange groves, adding to culture Redlands has to offer.
